The BADGER OXD Flywheel - Next steps on FTM

Badger continues to innovate on Fantom within the OXD ecosystem. This week we are working on the following:

Changes to bveOXD:

Based on feedback from the OXD community, Badger is shifting bveOXD from a vault that 100% auto compounds, an upgrade is being prepared such that bveOXD emit OxSOLID as bOxSOLID with 80% of the earned OxSOLID and only auto-compound 20%. Please see details on bOxSOLID below. Badger always strives to take a partner first approach (https://badger.com/partners) and our goal has always been to build these products in tandem with the OXD community.

Note that these changes are still in testing and have not yet been deployed. bveOXD currently is still 100% autocompounding.

b-bveOXD/OXD LP Vault:

Rewards from the bveOXD Locker would be distributed as:

• OXD Rewards: b-bveOXD/OXD LP

• OxSOLID & SOLID rewards: bOxSOLID

• Bribes would autocompound into more bveOXD/OXD

• This vault will have a 9.6% performance fee & .1% withdrawal fee.

More OXD Ecosystem vaults:

• We will launch a channel in the OXD discord to discuss the OXD/Badger flywheel and over the next week or two run some emoji votes to decide on the next 2-3 Ecosystem vaults to launch after USDC/DEI which is the model/prototype.

• We’re still interested in working with anyone who has some vote power and would be interested in vote matching on a bveOXD pair.

Depreciated Vaults:

In order to clean up our UX and present a clear product vision on the Fantom/Solidly ecosystem. We marked a number of our original vaults, including all the “Solidex Ecosystem” vaults. As obsolete. They will still be harvested for the next months, but will not show up on our UI unless users are already deposited in them, and will show an obsolete tag.

Our focus in the future will be on working with the OXD community to design and build flywheel vaults together in that ecosystem. We will continue farming Solidex for our BTC DCA and Autocompounding vaults.
